1. About FundLens and these terms

FundLens ("we", "us", "our") operates the website at fundlens.co.uk. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, tools, and subscription services. By accessing or using FundLens, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our service.

You must be at least 18 years old to use FundLens and create an account. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

FundLens is an information and data service only. We are not a financial adviser, investment manager, broker, or dealer. We are not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) or any other regulatory authority.

All content on FundLens — including fund data, OCF figures, platform fee comparisons, fund factsheets, overlap analysis, alerts, and any other information — is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. Nothing on this website should be construed as:

• Financial advice or investment advice
• A recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any investment, fund, or financial product
• Tax advice or legal advice
• A solicitation or offer to provide financial services
• An endorsement of any particular fund, platform, or provider

• Fund charges, fees, and platform costs change frequently. Data displayed may not reflect the most current figures.
• We cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or fitness for any particular purpose of any data on this site.
• OCF figures, returns, holdings data, and sector breakdowns are sourced from third parties and may contain errors or omissions.
• Platform fee comparisons are illustrative estimates and may not reflect your exact costs based on your specific usage, trading activity, or account type.

You must independently verify all data directly with the relevant fund provider, platform, or other authoritative source before relying on it for any purpose, including any investment decision.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Certain features of FundLens require a paid subscription. The following terms apply:

• Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period — you will retain access until then.
• We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods or unused subscription time, except where required by law.
• If your payment fails, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access until payment is successfully collected.
• We reserve the right to change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice to subscribers. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new price.
• Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
• Prices displayed are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

5. Intellectual property

All content on FundLens, including but not limited to text, data compilations, design, code, graphics, and the selection and arrangement of data, is the intellectual property of FundLens or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other applicable laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the site for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or commercially exploit any content from FundLens without our prior written consent.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use FundLens for any unlawful purpose or in a way that violates any applicable law or regulation.
• Scrape, harvest, copy, or systematically extract data from FundLens using automated tools, bots, or scripts without our written permission.
• Republish, redistribute, or resell data or content from FundLens without our written permission.
• Share your account credentials with others or allow others to use your subscription.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our systems or another user's account.
• Introduce malware, viruses, or other harmful code to our systems.
• Use the service in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our servers or networks.

7. Limitation of liability

• We expressly disclaim all liability for any investment losses, financial losses, or decisions made in reliance on information or data provided on this site.
• We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, special, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of FundLens.
• We are not liable for losses arising from inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated data on the site.
• We are not liable for any interruption, suspension, or termination of the service.
• Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of FundLens shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid by you in the three months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FundLens and its operators, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

9. Third-party links and services

FundLens may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, or services. These are provided for convenience only. We have no control over and accept no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites. Linking to a platform or fund provider does not constitute an endorsement or recommendation.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to FundLens at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or if we cease operating the service. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. If your account is terminated due to a breach of these Terms, you will not be entitled to a refund.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the law, our services, or our practices. We will notify subscribers of any material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. The updated Terms will also be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
