Cookie Policy

1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to the site operator. Cookies can be "session cookies" (deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent cookies" (which remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them).
2. How FundLens uses cookies
FundLens uses the minimum number of cookies necessary to operate the service. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or social media cookies. We do not sell or share cookie data with third parties for advertising purposes.
The only cookies we use are strictly necessary cookies required for the core functionality of the site.
3. Cookies we use
| Cookie name | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| sb-*-auth-token | Keeps you authenticated while you use the site. Set by our authentication provider (Supabase). Without this cookie you cannot remain logged in. | Strictly necessary | Session / 1 hour |
| sb-*-auth-token-code-verifier | Used during the authentication flow to securely verify login requests (PKCE). Deleted immediately after login. | Strictly necessary | Session |
No third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies are set by FundLens.
4. Strictly necessary cookies
The cookies listed above are strictly necessary for the website to function and cannot be switched off in our systems. They are only set in response to actions made by you, such as logging in to your account. You can set your browser to block or alert you about these cookies, but if you do, some parts of the site (in particular, your account and subscription features) will not work.
5. Cookies we do not use
FundLens does not use:
- Analytics cookies — we do not use Google Analytics, Hotjar, Mixpanel, or any similar tool that tracks your browsing behaviour across sessions.
- Advertising cookies — we do not use cookies to serve targeted advertisements or build advertising profiles.
- Social media cookies — we do not embed social media buttons or widgets that set third-party cookies.
- Functional/preference cookies — we do not store user preferences such as language or display settings in cookies.
6. Third-party cookies
When you make a payment via Stripe, Stripe may set their own cookies as part of the payment process. These are governed by Stripe's cookie policy. FundLens has no control over these cookies.
7. Managing cookies
You can control and manage cookies in your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- View the cookies stored on your device
- Delete some or all cookies
- Block cookies from specific websites
- Block all third-party cookies
- Block all cookies (note: this will prevent you from logging in to FundLens)

8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time as the site evolves. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. As we only use strictly necessary cookies, we do not require your consent before setting them, but we will notify you of any material changes to our cookie practices.
